Talk of the Neighborhoods is a weekly program on Boston Neighborhood Network, Boston's public access channel. It focuses on politics and public affairs issues in and around Boston. Host Joe Heisler, dubbed the "Larry King of Boston Cable" by the Boston Globe, is a long-time Boston journalist with a reputation for fairness and alacrity.

Dennis Royer, Mayor Menino's Chief of Public Works and Transportation talks about last week's paralyzing snow storms and the trials and tribulations of keeping Boston's street free and clear of ice and snow. Then City Councilor elect John Connolly joins Joe to talk about his hopes for the New Year and the fall-out from his successful campaign in November for one of four at-large council seats.
